This month, our class discussion will focus on "multi-tasking". Some people say that they can manage and complete multiple tasks at the same time. Other people say that multi-tasking is inefficient, insisting that focusing on a single task is more efficient. Before our class discussions, I'd like to hear your opinions. Multi-tasking or single-tasking, which do you think is more productive for you, and why?

I personally prefer not to manage more than two things simultaneously. The reason is clear; I cannot focus on multiple things at the same time. I lose concentration and after all, it takes a much longer time to complete each task. In that sense, single tasking is more suitable for me.

I've never felt multi-tasking distracts my concentration. I can handle many things at the same time. While I'm replying to emails, I am also overseeing my subordinates and seeing if they are performing well. On the top of my head, I'm also planning how to negotiate with our suppliers, and I can manage all these all at once.
